Sense Poems

At the Beach
I can see people playing volleyball in the hot steaming sun.
I can hear dogs barking in the sunlight as they chase balls.
I can smell dead fish on the dry, warm sand.
I can feel the cold breeze of the wind cooling my body.
I can taste the delicious ice cream spreading onto my tongue and in my body.

At the Sunnybrae Tryathlon
I can see people splashing in the water.
I can hear people cheering.
I can smell a lot of people sweating.
I can feel sweat running down my neck.
I can taste rainwater on my tongue.
